Tea?
An animated short film
My project revolved around silent characters in animation and how they communicate their emotions and personality without the use of dialogue. I decided to base my animation off observational drawings I did of my family members, capturing aspects of their personality through the simple act of giving and receiving a cup of tea. I used colour, texture and shape to visually reflect the characters mood along with expressive body language and facial expressions. There’s no dialogue in my film, only diegetic sound to create atmosphere and help carry the narrative.
